Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card is a travel rewards credit card issued by Capital One which can help you save on any travel purchases you make. This card falls into the family of "cash back miles" cards, meaning that you don't earn actual frequent flyer miles, but instead you earn reward miles which you can then redeem towards the cost of any travel bookings you make. That makes it a pretty flexible card.

Things We Like About Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card
$0 annual fee. The biggest difference between this card and its close relative, Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card, is that Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card has a $0 annual fee. That means you don't have to pay a fee every year to use this card, so you don't have to discount an annual fee from the miles you earn to calculate your actual travel savings.
You earn unlimited 1.25 miles per dollar on every purchase. Every purchase you make with this card, every day, earns 1.25 miles for each $1 you spend. There is no limit to the amount of miles you can earn. Just calculate your average annual spending multiplied by 1.25 to see how many miles you could earn by using this card.
It has a bonus offer! When you spend $1,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening, you will receive a one-time bonus of 20,000 miles (equal to $200 in travel). So just getting this card and spending less than $400 a month within 3 months from account opening can start you off with up to $200 worth of travel!
You can redeem your rewards for any travel purchases. The miles you earn with this card can be redeemed towards airline tickets, hotel stays, cruises, car rentals, vacations, and many more travel purchases you pay for with this card. You can book your travel any way you prefer (travel booking sites, directly from airlines, right at the hotel counter, and other ways), and then just redeem your miles as statement credit to cover those purchases. So you really are in control of your travel rewards when you use this card.
Your miles don't expire. The miles you earn with this card don't expire, as long as your account is open and in good standing. So you can accumulate as many miles as you want to and hoard them for as long as you choose before redeeming them.
You don't pay foreign transaction fees. Capital One is famous for not charging foreign transaction fees on many of its cards. When you use this card to pay in a foreign currency while traveling, you won't have to pay a fee. Most credit cards charge 3% of the amount you spend, which can add up to some serious bucks. So this is a good card to take with you when you travel outside of the U.S.
You get an intro APR period. With this card you get 0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months, which means you won't have to pay interest on balances you carry until that time. After that a standard 12.99% - 22.99% variable APR will apply.
Our Least Favorite Things About Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card
You can't transfer your miles to airline or hotel partners. Unlike some other travel credit cards that let you transfer your points or miles to frequent flyer or hotel loyalty programs, Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card doesn't give you this option, so you can't easily roll them over to an airline or hotel partner which you are a member of.
You pay a lot to get cash with this card. This is a great card to use when you pay at a credit card terminal, but try not to use it to get cash. Every time you use this card to get a cash advance you will pay $10 or 3% of the amount you get in cash.
