Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card- 21 Month Balance Transfer Offer, a partner card issued by Citibank, is one of our top rated 0% balance transfer cards in the U.S., and is designed for those who plan to take advantage of its 21 months of introductory 0% APR on balance transfers (made in the first 4 months from account opening) and 12 months for purchases (then 14.24% - 24.24%* variable APR), and also for those who want to enjoy the benefits this card has to offer. Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card- 21 Month Balance Transfer Offer gives you solid card benefits and one of the longest introductory low APR periods available from a nationwide bank.
Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card- 21 Month Balance Transfer Offer blows us away with its introductory APR offer of 0% intro APR for 21 months on balance transfers made in the first 4 months and 0% intro APR for 12 months on purchases, which gives you plenty of time to pay off old credit card balances or big puchases (if you make them near the beginning of that intro APR period). The regular 14.24% - 24.24%* variable APR after that is fairly typical of current credit card rates.
What sets this card apart from other low interest credit cards is that it comes with benefits which we would normally only expect to find on a more exclusive credit card with a high annual fee (this card has no annual fee).
It would have been nice to see this card come with cash back or a more solid rewards program (like Citi ThankYou®), but if you aren't interested in rewards or already have a rewards credit card, then Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card- 21 Month Balance Transfer Offer will work well for transferring balances, paying off big-ticket purchases over time and (long after the intro APR has expired) paying for your travel bookings and purchases to enjoy the useful protection it offers.
